Top Six Pack Abs Workouts

If you’re uncomfortable about the way your stomach looks then it is time to do something about it. Achieving a slimmer stomach can be done in so many ways. But when it comes to impressive and long lasting results, few things are as successful as a good ab workout. A good ab workout program will allow you gently nurse your ab muscles back into their individual distinct form. An effective fitness program such as Del Monte’s no nonsense ab workout, will get you true results in the shortest time possible.

The things you do as well as the things you fail to do, will greatly affect the results of your workout program. By paying attention to the following areas, you will be able to improve the results which you get.

Reduce how much you snack: Fat does not go muscles. The more of it that you have hanging around, the less prominent your muscles will become. Although putting on muscles will result in your body burning more calories daily, you will still end up gaining more weight if you eat more than your body requires. Monitoring the meals which you eat during the day will therefore play an important role in the results of your workout. A good step is to reduce the amount of snacks that you consume daily. Junk meals contain high calorie levels. And because they are deceptively small, most people keep on eating them. Paying attention to your body fat level is important because your ab muscles will only become evident once you have reduced your body fat content to a smaller percentage. Achieving this will be almost impossible unless you cut down on how much you eat

Here is another great guide to learn more about 6 pack abs workout

Don’t focus on the exercises alone, remember to warm up: This is one mistake which far too many people make during the course of their workout program. In order to properly prepare your body for the activity ahead, it is vital that you warm up. Doing this will allow you to gently work your muscles into a stance of readiness. You will also be able to increase your circulatory rate sending adequate blood to all the required organs. Once this is done, you will find that carrying out your exercise routines is a lot easier and definitely a lot smoother. Ignoring the process of warming up can result in many negative effects. One such example is that stiffness in muscle and joints which people end up feeling during their workout. Once your workout begins, you will also find that you run out of breath much faster than normal. In more serious scenarios, people who fail to properly warm up before working out risk developing muscle cramps as a result. Your 6 pack abs workout should therefore only be started after you have taken time to get your body ready with a warm up.

Drink lots of water: Never underestimate the importance of water to the body. Drinking at least 2 liters of water every day is medically encouraged. If your intent is to work out during the day, you should drink even more.In order to replace the water lost during your exercise, you should drink about 5 liters of water. Drinking water regularly is one way of guaranteeing that your metabolic rate does not drop. Water also prevents you from feeling false pangs of hunger which really might be thirst. A glass of water drank shortly before a meal will make you eat much less. Best of all, by just drinking sufficient water during the day, your body will be forced to burn more calories.

Avoid ignoring the rest of your body: It might seem an unnecessary step but the results are certainly worth it. Although your aim is to improve your ab muscles, working on the other parts of your body will improve your results. This means that you should pay some attention to your chest, legs and arms as well as your ab muscles. Doing this will achieve several things. The first of is that you will look much better at the end. Another advantages is that you will be given a better chance of variation of your workout. And since increased muscle tone and content results in a like increase in calories burnt during the day, you will end up burning more fat. Finally, it is recommended that you give your ab muscles at least a day to heal after a work routine. Focusing on your other muscles will therefore allow you to maintain the habit throughout the week even if you’re not engaging in your 6 pack abs workout.

Try different routines:Adding different routines will improve the results of your workout. Using the same exercise method persistently will reduce the rate at which your muscles develop. To prevent this, effective workout routines like Delmont’s fitness program provides various abs workouts for people to try. With this, you will be able to improve the final results which your ab muscles receive.

Building a firm and smoother stomach will take some time, based on how much you already weigh. It will require dedication and persistence. But if you stick at it, and avoid making some of these common mistakes, you will wake up one morning and suddenly find that your stomach is back and ready to go.

Get Ripped & Get Shredded in 2010 with this Explosive 8 Pack Abs Workout

Hi everyone!

So its 2010 and the start of a new decade and its time for you ! Why not start working on developing 8 pack abs! If you’re committed, then we got the workout for you with this explosive 8 pack ab workout!

This is a circuit training workout to get ripped and to get shredded. Each circuit is comprised of 5 ab exercises and in order to complete the workout, you will want to perform 3 to 5 circuits to complete this ab workout. When doing each ab exercise, remember to use proper form. Challenge yourself to taking as few breaks as possible. Ideally, you want to finish each ab exercise and each circuit without taking a break. Don’t worry if you can’t finish an entire circuit the first time without taking a break. This 8 pack ab workout is very challenging so after your first workout, move on from there and focus strictly on improvement!

Ok, so lets get into it. As mentioned above, to complete this 8 pack ab workout, you want to complete 3 to 5 circuits of this 5 ab exercise combo! Check out the video demonstration below if the ab exercises presented are unfamiliar or you are unsure on how to perform them.

Ab Exercise 1: Hanging Clocks

6 Reps Clock Wise & 6 Reps Counter Clock Wise

Ab Exercise 2: 1 Leg Running Man Physioball Ab Tucks

10 to 15 Reps

Ab Exercise 3: BOSU Tubing Crunches

As Many Reps As You Can to Failure

Ab Exercise 4: Side Plank Pull

10 to 12 Reps

ab Exercise 5: Forward Plank Pull

10 to 12 Reps

Incorporate this 8 pack ab workout into your routine over the coming weeks. Be consistent and try and get it in as many times as possible. Abs are unique muscles that can be worked out almost everyday. In order to not get bored and to ensure you are mixing things up, get a few other ab routines to throw into the mix if you plan to workout your abs 4 to 6 times a week. Strategically plan your ab workouts over the coming weeks to ensure you are consistently inputting variety into your training. This is the best way to develop and define your muscles and get ripped and get shredded!

CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com This is the Bodyweight 250 Challenge, meaning you will do 250 repetitions of varying bodyweight exercises done back-to-back-to-back with as little rest as possible. You may, however, need to break up an exercise into blocks in order to get through it. Just be sure to finish all the reps before moving on to the next exercise. To start out this bodyweight workout, you’ll begin with either 30 Rope Jumps or 30 Jumping Jacks. For the jumping jacks, stay on the balls of your feet to really get the explosive lift and keep your hands straight up over your head. After that you will move into 20 Close-Grip Push-ups. In this exercise, keep your elbows tucked into your sides. Immediately following the push-ups will be 10 Jumps. Be sure to jump right back up as soon as you land. After the jumps you will complete 10 Pull-ups. So, with an overhand grip andslightly wider than shoulder-width apart, start from a dead hang position and pull your chest up to the bar and then slowly lower back down. The next exercise in the Bodyweight 250 is 40 bodyweight Squats. Place your arms straight out in front, push your hips back and squat down and up. From the squats, go right into 25 regular Push-ups. Next up in this bodyweight workout is 20 Walking Lunges (10 per side). You’ll follow the lunges with an upper body exercise known as Inverted Rows. In this exercise you’ll do 15 underhanded rows. So, place the bar at hip height, grab an …
CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com Here are my 3 favorite abdominal exercises in which none involve lying on your back and curling your shoulder blades off the ground, or any type of movement that requires you to perform hundreds of situps while lying on the ground. These 3 ab exercises can be performed in circuit fashion for an excellent abdominal workout that will work your abs really well and help burn belly fat without placing stress on your lower back. The first exercise is the ab wheel. To begin you want to put your knees on the ground and place your body in the upright position. Rollout, keeping your back straight, while squeezing your abs and then return to the starting position. Repeat. Next, you will immediately move on to stability ball jackknives. There are all sorts of variations of this exercise. For example, you can rest your elbows on a bench with your feet on a stability ball, placing your body in a plank-like position. In this case, you will brace your abs and tuckyour knees into your chest and then back out. To make this exercise even more difficult you can do one-leg stability ball jackknives. So, when one leg tucks in, the other kicks out. You may also want to try stability ball jackknives with a bit of rotation. This will involve bringing your knees to one side and then to the other. Another alternative is to perform stability ball jackknives with your hands on the ground, with an additional push up added in for good measure …
CLICK HERE FOR A FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com Today you will learn of three basic exercises that will help your abdominal endurance and low back health. These exercises are the plank, the side plank, and the bird dog exercise. Now, I want to be honest and say that these three abdominal exercises are not the most exciting to do. They won’t give you that classic burning sensation in your abs that leaves you feeling like you’ve really worked them hard. However, these three are the safest and probably the most important to do when first starting to work out to prevent you from low back injury. Dr. Stuart McGill, a researcher in Canada, has done extensive research on low back pain and has concluded that individuals who have a lot of endurance in their abdominals tend to have less chance of sustaining an injury to the low back. The great thing about each of these three exercises is because no equipment is required you can do them in your own home. Also, because these are endurance exercises, you can do them every day. So, the first exercise is the Plank. To do this, rest your elbows on a mat, and place your body in a straight line. Brace your abs and try to work up to where you can hold that position for 2-3 minutes straight. If right now, you can only do the plank for 20 seconds, then each day try to add a couple seconds. Alternatively, you can hold for 10 seconds, rest for 1 second and do that 6-7 times. The next exercise is the Side Plank. This time, position …
CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com This is the superhero exercises section of my Turbulence Training workouts. I’m going to show you the 2 exercises that you will find in my programs that tend to cause a lot of confusion because my TT followers just don’t know what the heck I’m talking about; Spiderman push-ups and Spiderman lunges For the Spiderman push-up, you want to start by getting into a regular push- up position. As you come down, bring your knee up to your elbow, back down, and then alternate sides. To perform the Spiderman push-up exercise correctly, try tokeep your body in a straight line and minimize the rotation in the hips. You should have good mobility in your hips which will allow you to do this exercise. This is a very difficult push-up when done with proper form because when you bring your elbow to your knee you are going from 4 stabilizing points to only 3. Therefore, you are increasing the stress load on your body, as well as working your abdominals. A hard exercise to perform, the Spiderman push-up is a great total body exercise. The Spiderman lunge or climb as it is more commonly known amongst my readers is another Turbulence Training exercise that has a tendency to cause confusion. To do this exercise, get into the top of the push-up position, keep your hips down, and bring one foot up right next to your hand. Return your foot to the original position and then alternate sides. For beginners or those with poor flexibility, be …
